Aortic dissection

This model demonstrates the anatomical and hemodynamic features of a type A aortic dissection. Entry and exit points are visible, as well as a mobile intimal flap.

Atrial septal defect

A secundium atrial septal defect is represented in this pathological model with corresponding right heart volume overload. Doppler analysis allows assessment of both the direction and magnitude of the shunt.

Mitral regurgitation Doppler

Flow velocity has been added to the existing mitral regurgitation model (Pathology Module 2). Spectral and colour flow Doppler displays demonstrate characteristic appearances of an eccentric jet, PISA and altered pulmonary venous flow profiles.
